Bio:

Tanisha is a passionate Yoga Instructor, Massage Therapist, and NASM certified Personal Trainer. She has traveled all over the world learning a variety of healing and well being techniques. With over 1,000 hours of Yoga teacher training, learning Kundalini Tantra Yoga in India and Sivananda Yoga at an Ashram in the Bahamas.

She feels her purpose on this earth is to help others feel embodied and harmonious. She has made it a priority to learn as much as possible about the human body and different approaches to reach homeostasis. She has acquired over 2,000 hours of Massage training. Her massage modalities include Structural Integration at Soma Institute, Thai Massage in Thailand, Lomi Lomi in Hawaii, Manuel Lymphatic Drainage, Ashiatsu, Ayurveda in India, Shamanic energy work and Reiki.

She enjoys being creative and believes in listening to the body to create the best wellness plan to fit your body type. She loves to add Sound Bowls, Sound Meditation, Cranial Sacral, Reflexology, Himalayan Salt Stones, Essential Oils, Plant Technology, and Energy Work into her sessions. She makes every effort into figuring out what your body needs and how you and she can proceed with fulfilling those needs by setting up a Massage, Fitness, Ayurvedic diet and/or Yoga plan that’s contoured specifically for you, and can assist you with Plant Medicine Integration. Tanisha wants you to know that you are beautiful and wants you to love your body and feel amazing in this life!!!


Yoga:

With over 1,000 hours of Yoga teacher training, I have learned Shivanda Yoga, Kundalini Tantra Yoga in India, Yoga for alignment, injury prevention, longevity and ultimate goal of bliss, Samadhi. I believe that creativity is an aspect of the Creator, and teach others how to weave and unravel by allowing their bodies to lead. Eventually moving into peace, a feeling of stillness, a meditative space of well-being. I add sound bowls, visualization and mindfulness meditation into every session. Finding devotion in the discipline, magic in the mundane, spiritual in the practical.

Creating your own personal practice we will do a body analysis and/or massage to create a personal practice that you can do daily. I will simplify and cater to your body so that it is understandable and achievable. A practice that you can take with you to do every day to raise your vibration, ground and counter balance your daily activities. Whether we focus on alignment, postural support, balancing, chakras, flow, mental or emotional health, grounding, raising vibration, flexibility, mobility, range of motion, concentration, mental focus, stress relief, nervous system connection, mental clarity, blood circulation or lymphatic flow we can go in any direction to create a daily yoga routine thats doable and right for you.

Devi Yoga; Devi meaning Goddess, Yoga meaning Union or to Yoke.

Shakti Dance Alchemy; We will create a meditative flow by dancing through the elements, moving through the different energies of the goddess

Creative Flow:

Fusion class, combining tapping, dancing, Astrology, breath work, sound mediation, Mantras, Mudras, Yantras, Tantra, jumping whatever we are feeling to do that day to raise our vibration, simulateing movement to ultimately create peace, bliss and homeostasis.

Kundalini Tantra Yoga:

This is a very disciplined practice. We will begin with prayers, breathwork and Sun salutations, utilizing the Mantras correlated to praising the sun, hold positions for longer than comfortable to ignite and move the energy in a certain direction. We will be utilizing Mantras, Kriyas, Yantras, Bandhas, Mudras and long form Meditation throughout the class.

Massage Therapy:

I prefer to start all my clients, regardless if they come to me for Yoga or Personal Training, with my standard massage. This massage helps me to feel where the client is at on a deeper level. We will do muscle testing to see what muscles need to be relaxed and which ones need to be turned on, which we can address in our Yoga and Personal Training sessions.

My general massage routine consists of me combining everything that I have learned throughout the years, the information I came into this world with and 13 years of experience into one. I will combine prior knowledge and intuitively go off of what your body is showing me. Whether it be soft tissue work, postural support, beauty massage, movements to stimulate blood circulation, create lymphatic flow, stretching, energy work, getting on and off the table, smudging and sound mediation. Whatever that individual is needing at that time. I like to get creative and magical, and really tune in to that individual with my full love and attention for each and every cell of the body. Combining all my modalities into one for our first session, then from there we can create a massage plan that can go into different directions depending on our goal.

Personal Training:

I like to take an inquiry from all different angles, starting with a Massage to see where the body is at. Feeling and assesing each body type. Muscle testing to see what muscles need activation, and which ones need to be relaxed, doing a thorough consultation to create a workout routine specialized for that individual. I like to simplify and create a workout regimen that is doable and create magic in the mundane, spiritual in the practical and ritual in the regimen. To me the body and spirit are one, my goal is to take you there.

After working as a Massage Therapist and Yoga Instructor for over 13 years, I noticed there was just something missing. We can relax the muscles as much as one would want but without activating certain muscles, the body cannot be in alignment. I feel that exercise is necessary for a healthy body. I have been active and working out in different ways my whole life. I believe in a variety of movement for optimal heath. I will never assign anyone any movement that can cause harm or distress to the body. In my opinion, It is working out to be stronger, to promote graceful aging, injury prevention , cognitive fitness to assist with brain to body communication and adaptability.

I am very big on proper warm-up, range of motion, activating muscles, aftercare tips and tricks for self-care and nourishment to get the most out of your workout and continued growth. I focus on postural support and body molding because I believe on some level, the body can be sculpted and molded for alignment, optimal function, and creating the life you came here for. I love something you can feel that’s why I utilize vibration frequency and healing on all levels. It’s not just one thing that’s going to be the cure-all; it’s a lifestyle... a combination of Bodywork, Resistance Training, Cardio, HIIT Training, Yoga, Breath Work, Sound Vibration, and Meditation until those things become your way of life. I'm here to motivate you and keep you accountable until it becomes innate, assisting you in that integration.

Create a Plan

I will create a plan that’s right for you. We will do different forms of intake to create the best daily practice regimen. Utilizing Massage, Ayurveda, Astrology and Yoga as body analysis, as well as before and aftercare. I believe that longevity and a healthy body are key to a happy, succesful life. Working out to feel stronger not sore, exercise to enhance energy not leave you feeling drained, One thing I live by is having a proper warm-up for Injury prevention, longevity and proper body mechanics. I will create a warm up and routine that is doable and effiecient for everyday use no matter how much time one has. I will fuse together a combination of everything I have learned plus add in my own spice to help ground and raise your vibration daily, simplifying to make magic in the mundane, spiritual in the practical, discipline in the devotion.

3 Weeks to create your Personal Practice

This is my coaching offer in which we will do a Massage, Yoga and Fitness session once a week for three weeks, along with daily check-ins, tips and tricks to create a habit shift. Unlike other coaches, my techniques are very physical and practical it’s not all theory, it is application and knowledge combined, to assist you with integrating your bodies innate wisdom into daily practice. I will be sharing sacred knowledge that few have come across that I have collected throughout my studies and travels.

6 Month Personal Training Program

Studies have shown that it takes 6 months to impliment a concrete habitual lifestyle change. I will be along this journey with you supporting, motivating, and holding you accountable whether you want to work together once a week, 2x - 3x times a week and so on. We will cater a fitness routine that is right for you and adapt as needed as your body grows and gets stronger.

Ayurveda:

Ayurveda (a Sanskrit word that means "science of life" or "knowledge of life")

is the world's oldest whole-body healing systems. It was developed more than 5,000 years ago in India.

Ayurveda is based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance of the mind, body, spirit, elements and environment.


We will do an intake to determine your Dosha and your individual relationship with the elements. Figuring the optimal way that you can eat for your body type, the season, Astrological chart and moon cycle. We will do an Ayurveda Massage by utilizing oils that are best suited for your Dosha or bodies constitution. Ayurvedic theory can also be added into your Fitness, Yoga, Mediation and Massage regimen. We can cook together and create a meal plan for your specific body type or Dosha, taking in account the environment and your relationship with your surroundings. I studied Ayurveda in India, I have a long way to go yet I feel adding this knowledge to our lifestyle and habits can be super powerful and create a balanced life.
